Why this Campaign? Why now?
Cancer rates are increasing as diagnosis improves. Currently 1 in 2 of us are likely to need some form of treatment for cancer.
The Royal Surrey County Hospital recognised the need to improve and add to their current operating areas and were awarded £41.5 million to create a Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre. This did not include the cost of new high-tech equipment. We decided to help!
As the UK’s fourth-largest cancer centre, serving 3 million people across Surrey, Sussex and beyond, and to meet growing demand the Trust launched the Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre (CASIC). Due for completion in June 2026, the CASIC will expand capacity, improve patient care and transform surgical services for those in need.
Together with the skills and care of dedicated staff, and technically advanced equipment, RSCH recognise they can cut waiting times, improve patient outcomes by reducing scaring and pain, and deliver shorter recovery times.
And the equipment is how we can help
